This 270 watt power supply was designed to replace HP MediaSmart EX470, EX475, EX480, EX485, EX487, EX490, EX495, series power supplies that use a variation of Hipro HP-U200EF3 power supplies. This power supply is very similar to most flex atx power supplies in physical dimensions. As a matter of fact many people have made the mistake of trying to make a flex atx power supply work inside a MediaSmart server. The fact is that the EXxxx series servers use a power supply that has different electrical flow. This configuation must be matched up accurately for the power supply to work properly. This power supply for HP MediaSmart servers that we offer does exactly that! This ps is discontinued so the FSP300-50FFB will automatically be shipped out as a compatible replacement if you buy this unit, it is 30 MORE watts of passive power.
