Product Description:
This Sony MJPC-270A1 power supply replacement will work in Sony computers that use the MJPC-270A1 power supply. A number of Sony Vaio computers use this power supply, and the one we offer here is a small upgrade to 300 watts instead of the original 270 watts. If your computer uses the MJPC-270A1 power supply then this power supply has been manufactured to fit without any modification.
Please note that some of the older Sony Vaio power supplies use a 3-wire fan control that comes from the motherboard. This power supply has its own internal fan control and does not need the input from the motherboard. As such, you may get an error when you boot your computer saying that the power supply fan is not working. You can ignore this message and possibly set up your bios to ignore this error.
