This 40 watt power supply FSP model FSP040-1ADF03A has a 120v input and outputs power at 12vDC and 3.3 amps. This power supply is passive so if you have a 12vDC device that needs 3.3 amps or less it should work. The physical architecture of the FSP FSP040-1ADF03A resembles that of a laptop power supply . In fact this power supply is used to power many smaller laptops that consume 40 watts or less power. The power cord for the FSP040-1ADF03A is a standard computer power cord. This is nice because if the cord ever shorts out it can be replaced quite easily and cheaply with athe standard computer power cord.
